Blood smeared all over the face, a man carried his injured child over to the safety van, mothers wailing for her lost and the elderly man’s body laid lifeless on the ground. Sirens can be heard across the city. People screaming either in desperation or despair. Palestine.

I am really disturbed by the images when I saw them on the news. Although we heard too many times the going ons in this country, most of us didn’t realize how much pain they’ve gone through. The only thing that we say is ‘gosh, the horror! I am glad I am here’. Kinda selfish don’t you think? But then again, what can we do but pray for them.

Why must there be differences among man? Why must there be the need of power? Why can’t everyone live in peace?

One of the old guys at work told me off this morning!

And my answer was….

‘It’s probably too late now’

And he countered…..

‘It is NOT too late’

Sigh.

I’ve not been blogging for quite some time. There’s so much to write now but just couldn’t find the time lately. I wanted soo much to write about our holiday last June. Too many pictures to upload and too many details to put up. Anyways, I’ve been putting it up on my FB instead. Though, I miss writing, I somehow recently found an easy way or rather the laziest way to go online (coz its rather easy to type on the keyboard of my laptop) so I’ve found this latest (maybe not) application which I’ve downloaded them in my darling BB (that’s how much I love my gadget…freak geek I know)! WordPress on BB! Kewl!..so easy and I can just update everywhere I go…so no excuse for not writing now. I am loving every minute of it now. So…till next time..TTYL *Talk To You Later*

Mum told me last night that dad almost cried on the way home in the bus. Why? because he heard “the song” he sang to his kids years ago on the radio.

We are doing fine except that we are missing our whole family (my mum, dad, brother and sister) who went for their small pilgrimage (UMRAH) last Monday.

The boy, surprisingly is doing well despite that he misses his grandparent & his beloved uncle & auntie so much.  He seems to be holding his tears very well the other day, trying to be brave about it I guess but I also think it also got  to do with the fact that he is excited to be staying with a relative while mum is gone.  You see….that relative of ours who stayed just next block from my mum’s has 3 young kids…so he looks forward everyday after school to play with them!…KIDS!..hehehe

Since nowadays we have to fetch him back every night,  I can no more laze around the house for 3-4days in a row…hehehe..because usually we would only fetch him on Fridays and have him till the weekend only and send him back on Monday.

Most of those days, mum will be the one getting everything prepared for the boy…breakfast,lunch,teabreak,snacks….etc..etc…

Anyway, I am really glad that we got someone we can trust to care for our son

Wah…next holiday will only be end of the month..can it be any sooner?!! Still in the holiday mood.

Mum had her wish granted today.

I drove her to Geylang today since the hubby gave the “green” light to use the car. After fetching son from school, I grabbed Auntie Dek Der & Caca as well.

Hope you like the ride Mum, well as for me, I got myself a blouse and 2 scarves.

But of course the price is …ehem…fuuuyoooo..but I want!!! How??

Yep…went for a quickie last Thursday! Nope…don’t get me wrong, its just a quick getaway!

It has been 4 years back since we last went to Genting.  So the hubby decided to go again this year to get the different “climate”.  It was indeed quite a climate change for us.  When we arrived, the weather is about 17-18 deg.  It rained quite a bit too with heavy fogs and wind.

The trip began with a lovely surprise for us as we were given an Executive Coach *double decker* which normally the tour agencies would charge an extra $50 to upgrade from a normal 26-38 seater one.   It’s been a fantasy for the hubby actually to ride on one!…hehehehe…not that we can’t afford for the upgrade, it’s just a bus anyways So you can see how excited he was when we were given that!

After that comfortable ride, with a few stops along the way, we arrived Genting @ about 2pm. 

While we were walking up this pathway heading for the hotel lobby from the bus terminal, we saw this long long long queue of people and a yellow neon sign board caught my eyes, it says “FIRST WORLD HOTEL CHECK-IN FOR TOUR GROUP”.  Both me and hubby stared at each other at that very instant!….huh?…are we considered a part of a tour group although we booked as F&E???…hmmm….being a Singaporean and kiasu as I am, I asked the hubby to just queue first while I go “checked it out” and that very same instant a gentleman approached us and told us that we have to queue in order to get a queue number to be called for check-in-to the hotel!!!!..  got it?….very the leceh you know!!!….that same gentleman suddenly slipped a queue number to the hubby and told us to stop queing instead but wait for our number to called.  So we went in to this small hall where we find like a few thousand people *okay exaggerating abit here but it sure looks like it* waiting for their number to be called as well!!!   “Aiyoh dah macam polyclinic daaaaa” the hubby exclaimed!

What more, look at the queue number we had…

Anyways, after the ordeal, the following day were quite okay…the boys had fun with all the rides including mummy too…:-)

Fadeliq had his first roller coaster ride (after much persuasion)

Face all cramped up with a tight grip..LOL

Oh yeah..at the end of the trip, hubby had a terrible gastric pain…poor him
